Icon Joiner

Use this tool to replace the upper sections of a vi's icons with the upper sections of another vi's icons. Useful when renaming projects that have the project name in the icon.

Instantiate COMPONENT Template

This VI will create a set of three linked files for handling errors from one component of a project. The files are placed in the specified directory and named with the prefix specified.

Rename Main

Run this VI to rename a set of vi's, controls, and support files that form a project, with all links automatically adjusted. Prompts are given first to select a root directory for the project, and then for the old and new filename prefixes that identify files in the project. Project files can reside inside subdirectories and vi libraries with any amount of nesting.

Toolwindow

Floating Window Tool that automates certain VI editing tasks. Toolwindow.vi has a plug in architecture so that other automated tasks may be added later. Current plug-ins include: Documentation: used for setting or changing the documentation of the selected front panel window. INI Settings: Changes some non-published INI settings, like the ability to show Error cluster wires as a different color. Move: used for moving the vi file on disk of the selected front panel window. All callers that are in memory are updated.
