Thomas E. Henage
Thomas first learned to program at age 8 when his dad introduced him to BASIC. While earning a B.S. in physics at Harvey Mudd College, he picked up FORTRAN and Java, and taught himself object-oriented programming.
After graduating from Harvey Mudd, Thomas went on to graduate school at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, where he taught himself LabVIEW to develop the software to run a neutral atom quantum computing experiment under the direction of Thad Walker and Mark Saffman. His own experimental work there focused on phase control in quantum operations. In his "spare" time, he also learned Flash/Flex and worked with the ARIS project in redisigning and coding a new web editor for building augmented reality iPhone apps.
After receiving his Masters degree in physics from UW Madison, Thomas joined MGI in September 2009 in order to pursue LabVIEW development full time.
